As the flagship saloon in the BMW range, the 7 Series has comfort, style and dynamic driving on hand to make it one of the best saloons currently available.
Now to add extra adaptability and a forward-looking dimension, BMW is adding technology from the iPerformance range to create the BMW 740e and 740Le xDrive, which utilises the eDrive and Carbon Core body structure.
The hybrid powertrain combines a 258hp four-cylinder petrol engine and a 112hp electric motor to provide 326hp total output, meaning a 0-60mph time of 5.2 seconds for the 740e and 5.1 seconds for the 740Le xDrive. Both models have a limited top speed of 155mph and an electric range of over 25 miles for both versions.
In terms of efficiency, the hybrid 7 Series models are in a league of their own, as the 740Le provides 117.7mpg whilst the 740e yields 134.5mpg, meaning CO2 emissions can be as low as 54g/km.
The xDrive system comes as standard with the long wheel version, which provides extra control in tricky conditions. Driving experience control gives you alternate performance modes, with Eco Pro, Comfort and Sport giving you a wide range of options to give you the right driving feel exactly when you need it.
As standard with the 7 Series, comfort and excellent accessories are guaranteed. As one of the most luxurious vehicles on the market, the 7 Series also comes with superb safety systems and infotainment extras that help to make the model both safe and practical.
Both the 740e and 740Le xDrive are available from your nearest Cooper BMW Centre, and you can contact your nearest branch for more information on the 7 Series range.
