No strangers to innovation, BMW has joined forces with Google Maps to launch a great campaign in Sweden which invites people eager to slide behind the wheel of a BMW 3 Series to search for a hidden car on Google Maps.
The fortunate person who discovers the BMW gets handed the keys to dazzle onlookers as they pass in their shiny new prize car.
Created by eminent agency Jung von Matt, the "Signposts" campaign, to give it its English name, has an easy to access sign in point on BMW’s dedicated campaign website where people who want to participate in the terrific treasure hunt can log in using their Facebook accounts. As soon as you’re logged in the search begins.
The hunt is easy. All you need to do is search through Google Maps following numerous embedded blue BMWs that point you in the direction of the highly desirable red BMW 3 Series model. At first, you will be allocated a specific region in which to conduct your hunt, but there are further unlockable areas to gain access to by increasing your activity.
BMW’s ‘Signposts’ is an innovative campaign from the leading car manufacturer and the prize will look great on the lucky winner’s drive.
