BMW only put into production the best cars that they have to offer, whether it is the new M3 or the innovative i8. However, they still like to show off their incredible designing skills with amazing concept cars.We can’t help but wish that some of these had been put into production and were available on the road, we would love to have a go in every single one of them.
Let’s take a look at our favourite BMW concepts that we would really, really love to see.
BMW 3.0 CSL Homage
This is the BMW Design Team’s tribute to the 3.0 CSL, a classic a BMW icon from the 1970s. The aerodynamic body of the 3.0 CSL is key to enable air to flow smoothly along the side of the vehicle. It also makes the car look very muscular and ever so slightly mean. You can see that it has taken some styling tips from the 1970s icon and that is what makes it look so stunning.
The BMW Vision Future Luxury
This car is all about showing what BMW’s might look like in the future, both inside and out. Exteriorly the car is extremely aerodynamic thanks to a coupe-style roofline and sloping boot lid. Inside, the Vision Future Luxury is as luxurious as they get, with four seats all designed to be as lightweight and comfortable as possible.
BMW M1 Homage
The BMW M1 is one of the best-looking cars in history, which is why this homage is absolute perfection. This concept was revealed in 2008 and shares a few characteristics with the BMW i8. There is no doubt that if this was ever a production car it would now be worth a serious amount of money!
BMW 328 Homage
The original BMW 328 is considered to be the best-looking sports car of the 1930’s. As homage, BMW designed what could arguably be the best-looking car of all time. Ok it could only be used when it isn’t raining, but who cares, it would be the most fun anyone has ever had in a car.
