For the first time, the M5 is powered by a 560hp V8 M TwinPower Turbo engine, the most potent engine ever devised by the BMW high-performance M division. As a result, it accelerates from 0-62mph in just 4.4 seconds and achieves a limited top speed of 155mph.
The luxurious sports car-like interior offers an extensive range of innovative driver assistance systems and mobility services. Alongside an impressive level of standard specification, new features include the seven-speed M Double-Clutch Transmission with DRIVELOGIC, which delivers uninterrupted power when changing gear, and the new active M Differential, providing increased traction and ensuring perfect handling, powerful propulsion and absolute safety even during fast cornering.
