Every inch a BMW M car, the M3 Convertible boasts BMW’s most advanced engine technologies and a 420 hp V8 engine that powers the car from zero to 62 mph in 5.3 seconds. With the roof down the eight-cylinder engine delivers an unforgettable soundtrack. The optional seven-speed M Double Clutch Transmission with DRIVELOGIC (M DCT) provides instantaneous gear shifts and shaves two-tenths of a second from the zero to 62 mph time of an M3 Convertible with a manual transmission.

A new high-revving V8 engine and advanced transmission technologies are not the only enhancements on the M3. Thanks to BMW’s careful craftsmanship and revolutionary innovations, such as BMW EfficientDynamics, the M3 Convertible benefits from a power-to-weight ratio some 10 per cent higher than that of its predecessor. The retractable hard-top is manufactured from lightweight materials so as not to hinder the car’s performance, and folds away in just 22 seconds.
